Trying out OSEA’s latest

The organic skin care industry continues to grow as more and more consumers are interested in learning exactly what’s in the product they’re using. Companies like OSEA, have listened and created a skin care that delivers results without causing harm to our health or the health of the environment. Their intention was to create a line free of toxic, synthetic ingredients that are cruelty-free – and they truly have out done themselves.

Our Test Divas team reviewed a variety of OSEA’s latest products including the Sea Oxygen Base Hydrating Cream, the Anti-Aging Serum, the Vagus Nerve Oil and the Organic Algae Aloe Gel. These plant-based, vegan products cover a wide range of individual skin care needs and some can be used in conjunction with one another. The Sea Oxygen Base is a multi-functional conditioning base that blends well with the Anti-Aging Serum. Pairing these two together allows for deep hydrating brightening treatment mask. The Vagus Nerve Oil combines a variety of powerful essential oils such as Lavender, Juniper and Chamomile used to massage on the neck and vertebrae to help create calmness and give an overall sense of well-being. Finally, the Algae Aloe Gel is a seaweed infused aloe gel for a deeply hydrating and soothing treatment.

We tried all four of these products and have nothing but positive results. For someone with sensitive skin, this is definitely a must try skin care line. Each product had its own unique smell including the seaweed in the Anti-Aging Serum, it made us feel like we were lying on the beach in Malibu with the ocean smell blowing in the wind. Sounds pretty dreamy right? Our favourite of the four was the Sea Oxygen Base due to its deep hydrating and fast absorbing qualities as well as the Vagus Nerve Oil for its relaxing properties. The oil definitely needs to be accompanied with herbal tea, a plush robe and comfy slippers for the ultimate in relaxation.

Andrea Green

Hi, I’m Andrea and I have dry, sensitive skin.

Now that that’s off my chest, let me guide you through my skin journey. I live in a small farming town where, growing up as a tomboy, I spent more time outside than indoors. I was never worried about what I was putting on my skin. My mom is a nurse and her skincare routine consisted of water, a cloth and putting some Olay on at night. Of course, following in her footsteps, I had a very simple skincare routine: washing my face with water and a cloth, and that was it. Fast forward to the past few years, and I’ve discovered a hidden passion for the health and wellness industry, especially skincare. I’ve always had very sensitive, dry skin, which made me reluctant to try new products. I’ve spent years searching for the right products that would help my skin flourish, and Spa Inc. has definitely led me to the light at the end of the tunnel. Today, I love to try out new products, and I follow a simple but effective routine each and almost every day.

My morning routine is still to simply wash my face with a cloth and water, but my night routine includes a small amount of cleansing cream followed by one of my favourite serums. The final key is putting a natural balm on my lips to make sure they don’t dry up overnight.
